I was so glad to receive this cool product for review. I have really long hair and I am always finding new ways to change it up. I just had hot pink on the bottom and dark brown on the top. But I redyed it all one color so I could try these.

Review "Silly Bandz" Make your own kit.

Silly Bandz are awesome!

So by now if you have kids, you have probably seen these bracelets. They come in all shapes and colors. The ones I received we could create in small/medium/large sizes with our own choice of color.


My family and I were lucky enough to try out their kit for making your own Silly Bandz. I was surprised at how much my 11 yr. old son got into it. He had previously received these from girls at school, so that might have been the motivation there? lol After I gave him the kit he sat for hours laying out his designs and creatively choosing shapes and colors. When it was done, we baked it as specified. Voila! Our own never lose it's shape Silly Bandz.


This is a super fun project for adults and kids of all ages. My only concern was the stinky smell when we baked them. Could just be our oven or that I wasn't forewarned enough to open windows and use fans. Regardless, these bands are a great gift for a boy or girl and encourages them to use their imagination and creativity.

Review "GIELLA custom blend cosmetics"

I have just received their fabulous eye highlighter mineral makeup and I love it!

B-Dazzle

I have extremely bad dark circles and a passion for makeup. I've tried healing, covering, etc. etc. The best thing that I've found for them is to brighten the surrounding area and lay off any eyeliner or mascara under my eyes. This makeup is a great base and/or brightener that worked beautifully for me. Although it appears beige in the picture, I was pleasantly surprised to find it didn't have much of a color to it all. You could blend it with any other eyeshadow shade and it wouldn't conflict. I liked using it with my bright mineral colors to tone done the effect. I also think those that do not like to fuss with shadow at all will enjoy putting a light coat of this on for a quick no muss brightening effect.

What a hoot! I just finished reading "Tuck Your Skirt in Your Panties and Run", by author and supreme humorist Lucy Adams. She is a southern author who tells it like it was and is. Any woman will be able to relate to her tales and brand of funny! This book is filled with great family humor and I know my readers (especially women;) will truly enjoy it.

Here are my personal thoughts on ShaToBu. This is a garment that goes on similar to pantyhose therefore, watch out please when pulling up! The good news about that is when you wear them they feel really light and thin. I ordered a size 2 sizes up from my normal size and I had a heck of a time getting these things on. So I would definitely recommend going up at least a size. I was relieved to find out that just as they claim, there were no markings left on my thighs from the elastic and panels.
